Usual shopping experience

The Meir is a comune shopping street, shops as ZARA, H&M, Bershka, New Look, Forrever 21, Men at Work, Esprit, WE, River Island, Sacha, Dinsey shop, Tommy Hilfiger Urban Outfitters,...You can find it all on the Meir.

In the middle of the Meir you have the 'Stadsfeestzaal' this is renovated. On the outside you can't see it but find it! It would be a great extra te see. You have to walk near the shops Urban Outfitters and Pimkie, there is the entrance. It's a wow factor when you walk in. This is an old Ball Room, in 2000 it burned down. They rebuild/renovated it and now its a stunning Mall with in the middle a big Champagne bar, lots of shops and a stunning place to look around and imagine the great Ball and Dance parties they had to had here years ago.

In the middle of the Meir you have a little square called the 'Wapper'.
It's also a nice place where you can have lunch or dinner. On culture level this is a famous square. Here you have the 'Rubenshuis' of the famous Belgium painter RUBENS.
Rubenshouse information

If you walk a bit further you find a nice restaurant, where you can have just some drinks as well.
It called HORTA. It's a very nice style of building. A little further you have a big square where is the big theater of Antwerp, musicals and big plays are played here.

When youre back on the Meir, just after the square Wapper there's a very famous chocolatier. 'Palace on the Meir'.
You can taste chocolate here and see how it's made. Also because it's an historical building you can visit it for € 6.
At the back of the building there's a little garden, you can just walk through and have a look, looking has no price.
